Launch Day
Every day AppsXi features a handful of new indie apps and big updates on the Launch Day page and the home page. It is free and there is no paid placement.
Book a day
- Get a build approved (the app must be live on the day).
- Open Apps > your app > Launch Day in the developer dashboard.
- Pick a day 2 to 90 days out, write a headline (10 to 80 characters) and, if you like, a maker's note: why you built it and who it is for.
AppsXi schedules at most 6 launches a day and confirms requests within two business days. You see the decision, and the reason if a request is declined, on the same page. Days run midnight to midnight Pacific time, like Product Hunt.
Rules:
- One launch day per app, then one major update launch (with a version) every 60 days.
- One open booking per app. Cancel it to pick another day; launches can be cancelled until the day before.
- A launch is a launch, not an ad: no paid placement, and the usual chart rules apply. Asking for reviews in exchange for anything ends the launch and removes the app from the charts.
On the day
- Your app is listed on
/launchesand, while it is launching, on the home page. Featured launches (up to 2 a day) get a larger spot. - Your listing shows "Launching today on AppsXi".
- AppsXi Launch Weeks are themed runs of launch days with one featured developer per day. They show as a banner and in the day picker.
Share kit
- Launch card:
https://appsxi.com/apps/<slug>/launch-card, a 1200 × 630 image with your app name, headline and day. Attach it to posts on X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Reddit or your newsletter. - Listing link:
https://appsxi.com/apps/<slug>. - Launch price: for paid apps, add a launch discount on the Pricing page starting on your launch day. It runs for up to 7 days and the listing shows "launch price" next to the real list price.
After the launch week, your chart badge keeps working in your README.
