About

About AppsXi

AppsXi is a marketplace for desktop apps on Mac and Windows, built so people can find good software and trust what they download.

The Open Source Shelf

We are starting with the Open Source Shelf: well-made free apps from GitHub, listed with full credit to their maintainers and checked on every release. Independent developers will be able to sell their own apps here soon, with fair fees and payouts to their own Square account.

Licenses and credit

Open source does not mean copyright free. Every open source listing follows the project's license, links to the exact source for the version you download, and respects the project's name and trademarks. Maintainers can claim or remove their listing at any time.
