Sponsored placements

Developers can pay to show one of their apps in a labeled slot on category pages and search results.

• Every sponsored placement says Sponsored, sits apart from the results, and is never mixed into them.

• There is at most one on a page.

• Sponsorship never changes the charts or the order of results. Rankings are earned from downloads, sales, ratings and retention, as described in how rankings work.

• Sponsored apps go through the same checks as every other app, and only verified developers in good standing can buy a placement.

• AppsXi counts views and clicks per day for the developer, with nothing that identifies you.
