AppsXi Affiliates
Recommend desktop apps you actually use. When someone buys through your link, your commission is paid into your own Square account at the moment of sale.
How it works
Join with an affiliate code (it appears in your links) and connect your own Square account. Square verifies who you are.
Pick apps whose developers run a program. Each sets its own commission, from 5% to 50%.
Share your link, for example
appsxi.com/a/yourcode/app-name. A purchase within 30 days of the last click on your link is yours.Square splits the payment: the developer is paid, AppsXi takes its 5%, and your commission lands in your Square account.
Example: a $20 app with a 20% commission
| Buyer pays | $20.00 |
| Square processing (3.3% + 30¢) | $0.96 |
| AppsXi fee (5%) | $1.00 |
| Your commission (20%) | $4.00 |
| Developer receives | $14.04 |
The rules
- Say that it is an affiliate link wherever you share it, as the FTC's endorsement guides require. Ready-made share text already says so.
- No self referrals: your own purchases (including from your own network the same day), apps from developer accounts you belong to, and payments into the seller's own Square account earn nothing.
- Keep Square connected while referred sales can be refunded (14 days); refunds go back through your account.
- Refunds within 14 days of a sale reverse the commission in proportion. After 14 days you keep it.
- No spam, no misleading claims, no bidding on app or AppsXi names in search ads, and no fake reviews. AppsXi can suspend accounts that break these rules.
- Affiliate sales count toward the charts like any other sale.
- Commissions are your income, and you handle the taxes on them. AppsXi does not withhold tax or send you tax forms.
