Successor of iTunes Volume Control
Control the volume of Apple Music, Spotify, and Doppler using your keyboard — seamlessly.
Now compatible with macOS 27 Golden Gate (supports Ventura and newer). Fully notarized — no workarounds required to install.
This app is the spiritual successor to _iTunes Volume Control_, offering a simple yet powerful way to adjust volume for your favorite music apps directly from your keyboard — especially when listening via AirPlay or external speakers.
On macOS 26 and later, the volume HUD looks like the system volume HUD, with the icon of the player it controls:
volume up and volume down keys.⌘ (Command) key inverts this behavior.Homebrew installs the app into Applications. After that, the app updates itself through its built-in updater, so brew upgrade leaves it alone unless you run brew upgrade --greedy.
The app requires Accessibility and Automation permissions to control other apps' volumes.
