Control the brightness and volume of external displays on your Mac with keys or menu bar sliders
MonitorControl lets you control the brightness and volume of your external displays on a Mac as if they were native Apple displays. You can use sliders in the menu bar or the keyboard, including the native Apple keys, and it shows the native macOS on-screen displays.
It supports several protocols, including DDC for external displays, the native Apple protocol for Apple and built-in displays, gamma table control for software dimming and shade control for virtual screens. Anyone who works with external monitors on a Mac and wants one consistent way to adjust them will find it useful.
