About LocalSend
LocalSend is an open-source app for securely sharing files and messages with nearby devices over your local network. It works without an internet connection or third-party servers.
Devices communicate through a REST API over HTTPS, using a certificate that each device generates on the fly. It is a cross-platform alternative to AirDrop for anyone who moves files between their own computers and phones or shares them with people nearby.
