High-speed VNC remote display system tuned for image-intensive applications
TurboVNC is a high-speed version of VNC, the remote display system that lets you view and interact with a desktop running on another computer. It is derived from TightVNC and sends only the pixels produced by remote applications to your local machine.
Its variant of Tight encoding is tuned for image-intensive applications such as video applications and image editors. Combined with VirtualGL, it provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance.
