About SensibleSideButtons
SensibleSideButtons is a macOS menu bar app that enables system-wide navigation with the side buttons on third-party mice. macOS mostly ignores the M4 and M5 buttons that are commonly used for navigation.
Instead of binding them to keyboard shortcuts, which only work in a small number of apps, the app makes the side buttons simulate three-finger swipes. That lets you go back and forward in almost any window with a history.
