About Mist
Mist, short for macOS Installer Super Tool, is a Mac utility that automatically downloads macOS firmwares and installers. It lists everything that is available, including names, versions, builds, release dates and sizes.
Mac administrators and anyone who keeps older or newer macOS installers on hand can use it to build the installer format they need, from firmware restore files to bootable disk images for virtualization software.
