An automatic tiling window manager for macOS in the style of xmonad
Amethyst is a tiling window manager for macOS along the lines of xmonad. It automatically arranges your windows into layouts so you spend less time dragging and resizing them.
It is for Mac users who like to work from the keyboard. Most commands map to xmonad key combinations: you can cycle layouts, resize the main pane, move focus between windows and screens, and throw windows to other Spaces. Amethyst needs accessibility permission, and the project recommends turning off the setting that automatically rearranges Spaces.
