Community-built, MIT-licensed binaries of Visual Studio Code with telemetry disabled
VSCodium provides MIT-licensed binaries of Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It is not a fork: the project runs build scripts that compile Microsoft's vscode repository and publishes the results with a community-driven default configuration.
The binaries have telemetry disabled and carry no Microsoft-specific branding. VSCodium suits developers who want the Visual Studio Code editing experience without Microsoft's customized product configuration and license terms.
