Vicinae A focused launcher for your desktop
Vicinae (pronounced _"vee-CHEE-nay"_) is a high-performance, native command palette for your desktop.
Out of the box, Vicinae can be your:
- app search
- clipboard history (opens in a new tab)
- text expander (snippets) (opens in a new tab)
- file search (opens in a new tab)
- browser tab switcher (opens in a new tab)
- emoji picker (opens in a new tab)
- calculator (opens in a new tab)
- window/workspace switcher (opens in a new tab)
- font browser
- volume controller
When you need more, Vicinae can be extended in several ways:
- React/Typescript extensions (opens in a new tab), compatible with the Raycast ecosystem. In-app integration with the Vicinae store (opens in a new tab) and the Raycast store (opens in a new tab).
- Script commands (opens in a new tab), also compatible with the Raycast feature of the same name, with special Vicinae additions.
- dmenu style menu creation (opens in a new tab), the linux minimalist way!
