An open-source menu bar manager for macOS that hides and reveals menu bar icons
Thaw is an open-source menu bar manager for macOS. It declutters your menu bar by hiding the icons you do not need, with an always-hidden section for the rest, and lets you reveal items by hovering, clicking, scrolling, swiping or pressing a hotkey.
It helps Mac users with crowded menu bars, including MacBooks with a notch, where hidden items can be shown in a separate bar. You can also style the bar with tint, gradient, shadow and border, and switch layouts by context. The project says the app is light on your Mac, with a small and steady memory footprint.
