A macOS Quick Look extension for previewing Markdown files, with a command line converter
QLMarkdown is a Mac OS application that provides a Quick Look extension for viewing Markdown files. It also includes an experimental Shortcuts extension and a command-line executable for converting Markdown to HTML, plus a graphical interface for configuring how previews look. It is not intended to be used as a standalone Markdown editor or viewer.
It helps anyone who browses Markdown files in Finder and wants a rendered preview without opening an editor. The preview can also handle rmarkdown, MDX, Quarto, and textbundle files, and it supports extras such as emoji, math expressions, Mermaid diagrams, syntax highlighting, wikilinks, and YAML headers.
