MarkEdit

MarkEdit is a free and open-source Markdown editor for macOS. It is just like TextEdit on Mac but dedicated to Markdown, with no bloat and an app size of about 4 MB.

It aims for a balance of size, speed, native integration and correctness. Editing follows the GitHub Flavored Markdown specification with no proprietary syntax, and features such as multi-caret editing and code folding are built on CodeMirror 6. It is made for Mac users who want a quick, native place to write Markdown.
