About Mailspring
Mailspring is an open-source mail client for Mac, Windows and Linux, maintained by one of the original authors of Nylas Mail. It uses a C++ sync engine that runs locally on your computer and is designed to be light on CPU and RAM.
Features include a unified inbox, snooze, send later, mail rules and templates, and the project states that Mailspring does not send your email credentials to the cloud. The interface is built on a plugin architecture, with plugins and themes available.
