Privacy-first, cross-platform text expander that replaces typed keywords with snippets and more
espanso is a cross-platform text expander written in Rust. It detects when you type a keyword and replaces it with something else, so you can save typing, create system-wide snippets or build a personal autocorrect.
It is for anyone who types the same phrases, code or emoji often. The project describes it as privacy-first, running 100% locally with no tracking, and it works on Windows, macOS and Linux.
