About DBX
DBX is a lightweight, cross-platform database client that connects to more than 100 databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, MongoDB, DuckDB, ClickHouse and SQL Server. The project says the whole app is around 25 MB.
It combines a SQL query editor, a data grid, schema tools and an AI SQL assistant that runs generated SQL through safety checks. DBX can also act as an MCP server so AI coding agents can query the connections you have set up. It is aimed at developers and database administrators.
